DartPals
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 25, 2026
Avrad Apps built DartPals as an ad-supported darts scorekeeper. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information you provide
DartPals does not require an account or login. Player and team names that you enter, scores, turns, match results and statistics are used to run matches and create your game history.
This information is stored locally on your device. Avrad Apps does not receive or maintain a copy of your match history.
Local match history
Completed matches are saved automatically in the app’s local database so that you can review previous results and statistics. You can delete this history from within DartPals. Uninstalling the app may also remove locally stored data, subject to your device and backup settings.
Scorecards, Gallery and sharing
DartPals creates a scorecard image only when you choose to save or share one. Saving places the image in your device’s Gallery or media storage. Sharing sends the scorecard to the Android share destination that you select.
Avrad Apps does not upload your scorecards. After you share an image, it is handled according to the privacy practices of the destination app or service you selected.
Offline announcements
DartPals can announce scores using text-to-speech available on your device. Announcement preferences are stored locally. Availability and voice processing may depend on the speech engine installed on your device and its provider.
Advertising
DartPals may display advertisements using Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may collect and process information such as device identifiers, advertising ID, app interactions, approximate location, diagnostics and ad interaction data to provide, measure and improve advertising.
Advertisements are not placed on the active scoring screen. Ad availability may be managed remotely by Avrad Apps.
Firebase Remote Config
DartPals may use Firebase Remote Config to manage operational settings such as whether advertisements are enabled. Firebase may process technical information such as app instance identifiers and device or app information needed to deliver this service.
Consent and privacy choices
Where required by law, DartPals uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent or present privacy choices before requesting eligible advertisements. Depending on your location and choices, Google may serve personalised, non-personalised or limited ads, or no ad may be available.
You may revisit available advertising privacy choices through the privacy settings provided in the app.
Third-party services
DartPals uses or may use the following Google services:
- Google AdMob
- Google User Messaging Platform
- Firebase Remote Config
- Google Play services
These services are governed by their own terms and privacy information:
Children’s privacy
DartPals is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards and trusted service providers. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Local match data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app, subject to device backup and restoration features. Information processed by third-party services is retained according to those services’ policies.
